What is mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR), and could it work
in your home?
A heat recovery ventilation system is a great way of supplying your home with fresh, filtered air while still retaining most of the energy that’s already been used to heat the building.
Air from warmer rooms, or spaces with more odours (kitchens, bathrooms etc) is extracted, passes through a heat exchanger and into the rest of the house. This keeps your home warm in winter and cooler on hotter days.
